Hwang Dong-hyuk's Squid Game, challenged an outdated idea that high quality content and success only comes from Hollywood, and made history as the first non-English language program to ever be nominated by SAG .
Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series
Best Male Actor in a Drama Series: Lee Jung-jae
Best Female Actor in a Drama Series: Jung Ho-yeon

West Side Story's Ariana Debose, won Best Supporting Performance by a Female Actor. She becomes the first openly queer, Afro-Latina woman to win.
CODA SAG Awards, Dimitrios Kambouris
CODA made deaf actors history, winning Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, and veteran actor, Troy Kotsur, won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role, becoming the first deaf actor to win an individual SAG award. Marlee Matlin signed that she hopes for more opportunities for deaf actors, who can work just like everybody else.

5-time SAG award winner, Helen Mirren, won the Lifetime Achievement award. "Actors, you are a magnificent tribe. This is for the actors, thank you!" Inspiring words from the legend herself.

Selena Gomez scored her first ever SAG nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, for Only Murders in the Building .
Leslie Odom Jr. reminded us that even in the midst of celebration, "we are all at the same time holding a place in our hearts for the people of Ukraine and sending our thoughts, prayers and hopes for impending peace."
