Hey! My name is Janise though you can call me Jan. I am an international student in Australia who was born in Malaysia but raised in a small country called Brunei. (It’s a bit confusing, I know lol). As you can see from one of the pictures, I love Pusheen (she’s just adorable and a much more attractive model than me 🥰).
Ever since I was little, I’ve always had a passion for acting. I love watching movies and tv shows especially cartoons that are all about action mixed with fantasy and a hint of drama, comedy and tragedy. I love horror films too though I can’t really watch them too much or I’ll get scared and not be able to sleep at night. 😅🥲
Anyway, what really drew me to acting was the way the actors portray their characters even if it’s just through their voice on an animated screen. The actors were so good at bringing their characters to life, I would often think that the actors ARE the characters.
Then there are the characters in the fantasy books I love to read. How I wish someone would turn the stories from those books into a movie or a tv show so I can see the characters and the action on screen rather than just visualizing it in my mind.
Hence, I became inspired to become an actor myself since it helps to distract me from my stresses in my daily life. Plus, I love to imagine I’m in another world or a situation I’ve never been before. It’s fun and exciting, exploring the scenes in character as though the events are actually happening in real life.
When I’m not acting, I am practicing my vocals because I love to sing too. I also love drawing and writing stories of my own. One of my dreams is to have my own cartoon tv show and be able to direct/produce it.
