Everyone has all these serious, pro photos. I dont have any idea what Im doing. I guess my photo is as real as it gets. With makeup, im sure i look better.
I have no acting experience outside of a few stage shows when i was a kid - and even posting my picture here is something i never thought i would do. Im a new Father. I would like to show my young son that life is full of opportunity - but you have to take it. Id like for him to grow up knowing what pride is - and seeing the humility that absolutely needs to accompany it.
Its also a confidence thing, perhaps? I have a lot more of that, suddenly. By day, Im an English teacher - so being the centre of attention, and placing my vunerabilities front and centre isnt really a problem for me. I can tell you that i can act - but i guess, with no experience, reference or professional portfolio behind me, thats up in the air and you have to take my word for it.
Ive never done anything like this, and honestly, I dont expect to hear anything back, really - but you never know, right? Just applying, now, is something new to me. Has made me feel good about myself.
Im well spoken, obviously. And yeah, i look pretty unremarkable - but maybe thats a stregnth? Maybe im average enough to be relatable? IDK. Its not really in my personality to sell myself - I know my value, and its about proving that, not marketing it. In any case, marketing isnt one of my stregnths.
I suppose Id just like an opportunity to show what i can do, have some fun, and meet some creative and interesting people - this opportunity ticks all of those boxes.

Honestly, I dont know how to add a photo here, in this particular section - everything is in Korean and i dont speak it. I also see no button to attach things, so in my blind panic, im just going to waffle some more. Im British, thats what we do.

Im brand new. No strings,no expectations. Everyone has to start somewhere - and unlike every other applicant you will see, mine is real. Its not pro shots with lighting and etc - a production crew can do that. Its just me, and as i understand, you want real, honest applicants. Im not interested in someone hiring me because of some preconcieved idea of me: talk to me - Im new to this, and theres probably a rat race here that im ignoring.
